Alstonville Medical Centre is pleased to be involved in the COVID-19 vaccination program.

We continue to participate in the COVID-19 vaccination programme and our reception staff and nursing staff are doing an excellent job of coordinating and vaccinating our patients.

Please phone the medical centre on 0266283101 to book in for a vaccination in one of our clinics.

Second vaccinations of either of the available COVID-19 vaccines will be done in a clinic at the RSL hall all day on Wednesdays and Friday mornings. Appointments are necessary.

First vaccinations of either of the available vaccines will continue to be done in a clinic within the medical centre. Appointments are necessary.

Vaccines are given based on NSW Health guidelines around eligibility and we advise you to check your eligibility via their website:

Our receptionists and nursing staff continue to be extremely busy during this time and we encourage you to check our website for updates and inform yourself about the COVID-19 vaccination via the NSW Health website.  If you have any concerns or questions we recommend you discuss them with one of our doctors prior to your vaccination appointment.  We are very happy to discuss the vaccination or any concerns or questions you may have at a separate appointment.

It is very important that you attend your booked COVID-19 immunisation appointment or give us 24 hours notice if you cannot attend.  This ensures that we avoid any wastage of vaccination and that we can arrange for someone else to be booked in your place.  It is also very important for you to attend your second vaccination clinic appointment to ensure you have optimal protection against COVID-19.

If you are a new patient to the Alstonville Medical Centre and require a COVID-19 vaccination please book an appointment with one of our GP’s and ensure you have copies of your medical history or a referral letter from your usual GP.  This is essential, we cannot vaccinate you if we do not have this important information.

Please note if you are not eligible for Medicare we are not able to vaccinate you in our clinic, you will need to contact your closest participating public hospital.

Please read the Checklist document below – we will go through this on the day of your vaccination.
